- This event has passed.
Tuesday, 15. April @19:00

At the beginning of the Seder we announce:
“This is the bread of affliction that our fathers ate in the land of Egypt. Whoever is hungry, let him come and eat; whoever is in need, let him come and conduct the Seder of Passover. This year we are here; next year in the land of Israel. This year we are slaves; next year we will be free people.”
-From the Passover Haggadah
During Pesach we come together and remember. We do not only remember the glorious chapters in the history of the Jewish people, but also the dark ones. The ones that tell about how the Hebrews first became slaves, than refugees and finally were united as one nation.
Especially today, with a war going on in Europe and thousands of people having to flee their homes, it is more important to remember and moreover stand together, than ever.
This is why, we are very happy to have this years Pesach Seder in cooperation with the extraordinary NGO HIAS. Starting of as an organisation, that saved Jewish refugees from the pogroms in Russia 120 years ago, HIAS has become a big cooperation dedicating its work to help all kinds of refugees.
Therefore, let us come all together at our beautiful Pesach Seder dinner, to not only remember but also connect and stand together.
A special “Seder for Kids” will be organised all through the evening. The Haggadah will be recited by the participants in Hebrew, French or English and commented by Rabbi Avi Tawil with delightful insights and anecdotes.
We would like to especially invite our dear friends from Ukraine that came here to Brussels (free of charge).
