About the event
The International Day of Sport for Development and Peace is coming up in March. To mark this important day, the EJCC is pleased and proud to announce that it is a partner in the third edition of Brussels Play 4 Peace at Tour & Taxis on Sunday 26th March 2017, with the aim of promoting tolerance, peace and sharing by sport.
The event is organized under the patronage of Unesco, and with the support of the King Baudouin Foundation.
Some 30 different sports activities will be planned during the weekend. Entrance to all participants (children, teenagers and adults) is completely free. This event will attract more than 7.000 participants as well as numerous personalities from the cultural and sporting world. Our objective during this weekend is to raise awareness amongst the general public about the power of sport as an instrument of peace, dialogue and education.
