Run4Peace

The European Jewish Community Centre’s intercultural dialogue programme Dialogue & Diversity has as its main purpose the promotion of peace and the building of bridges between communities. Peace is more than the absence of war, it is living together with our differences – of sex, race, language, religion or culture. Therefore, it is an on-going process, a long-term goal which requires constant active participation by all individuals. It is a choice to be made on each situation, an everyday life decision to engage in sincere dialogue with other individual and communities. Sport additionally brings strong values such mutual respect, education and perseverance with it. For the 20K of Brussels, being held on the 27th of May, The European Jewish Community Centre and Play4Peace in coordination with Dialogue & Diversity have initiated “Run 4 Peace”, where Ambassadors, Commissioners, MEPs and their Staff will run together and share a message of peace and unity through diversity.
